The community of Sugar Pond Manor is an established neighborhood in Wellington, Florida, with homes dating from the early 1980s to the early 2000s. Many of the 2,000 homes in the area were in place long before the Village of Wellington’s rise to fame. It is considered one of “old” Wellington’s fist planned communities while the area was still unincorporated. The community of Sugar Pond Manor does not have a homeowner’s association, so there is no monthly fee to pay. The Village of Wellington enforces lawn care and other home regulations for this non-gated area. The community also does not include a clubhouse, tennis courts or a fitness facility. There are, however, a number of parks, making this a fantastic place for families with young children. There are also winding roads and fantastic mature trees that enclose this community, and make it distinctive from the rest of the Village of Wellington. The community of Sugar Pond Manor is found along Greenview Shores Boulevard, just off Wellington Trace. The location provides easy access to US-441 and the Florida Turnpike.
